What the calculator measures

Nominal sidewall height equals section width multiplied by the aspect ratio. Nominal diameter adds two sidewalls to the wheel diameter. The speed estimate assumes the original calibration matched the original nominal diameter.

Real tires vary with construction, load, inflation and wear. The result does not establish wheel compatibility, load capacity, clearance, brake clearance, TPMS behavior or drivetrain suitability. A small diameter difference alone does not approve a replacement.
